I learned that Tsuut’ina honey is premium honey, I learned about the healthiness of honey, and I learned more first nations should be into honey. I am grateful that Chief Lee Crowchild has had the vision and initiative to make this happen on our Nation, it was really a long time coming for us and now for other nations. Beekeepers course a success! and then this thought came to me:…
I look at the young men on my Nation and see a reflection of what I may have been at that age. Full of day-to-day survival challenges and behind it all seeing a glimmer of hope that I will one day become what I was meant to be…. To all my young relatives across the land – I wish you strength and courage to make the stand to change things. Help those that are having a hard time regardless of the color of their skin. See the strength of their conviction. One day you will need them to hear what you are saying… Change the course of life so your grandchildren will hold you in a place of honor when they arrive.
